Korea Specific Links

Gmarket

Korea's only English online shopping mall, Gmarket has millions of products with everything from kitchen accessories to Western foods.  Payment options include bank transfer within Korea or International Credit card.  Shipping is cheap and very fast to any Korean destination.  I have continuously found Gmarket to be cheaper than also any offline store in Korea, for most goods (excluding food stuffs).

What the Book
Korea's premier English bookstore.  What the Book is a small outfit in the Itaewon area of Seoul.  But its online catalogue features millions on English books that are shipping from the USA and will arrive at your door in approximately 10 days.  Much quicker that Amazon will ever manage to deliver it.  Prices are good, usually better that offline bookstores (that usually feature a measly few overpriced English books).

EZShopKorea
English online grocery service.  Most of their products can be found at any Costco across Korea, though they do have a small selection of non Costco goods in stock.

Korea4expats
Lots of great and specific info for foreigners in Korea, especially those living in Seoul.

Strange Lands
An interesting and informative blog by a couple living in Korea.  Lots of good foreigner-living related information and links.

Adventures in Daegu and Beyond

A great blog run by a friend of mine who's a good writer and frequent traveller around Korea and Asia.

Gone2Korea - Teaching in Korea
A broad overview of the basics and statistics of current English Teachers in South Korea

ESL Links

My Worksheets - The worksheets on this site has been designed specifically with Korean students in mind.

ESL-Kids.com - ESL stuff for kids including flashcards, worksheets, classroom games and children's song lyrics.  A great resource for teachers of ESL kids

Bogglesworld
A favourite of most ESL teachers across the world.  Hundreds, if not thousands of lessons plans, worksheets, puzzles, games, PPT's etc.  Use them.

MES-English
Similar to Bogglesworld.  Well organised site with a multitude of useful worksheets, flash cards etc. etc.

ESL Printables
Thousands of worksheets and games arranged according to topic or grammar part.  The catch with this site is that you
??re only allowed to download items with points you accumulate with someone downloads a worksheet that you created and upload.  Give-and-take system.

Waygook.org
An online community for foreigners in Korea with some nice lesson plans and ideas for public school teachers.
